Introduction to standards:
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the following two categories and five types of steam rubber hoses and hose assemblies. a) Category - Category I, the outer rubber layer is not oil resistant; - Category II, the outer rubber layer is oil resistant. b) Type - Category 1, intended for a maximum working steam pressure of 0.3MPa (3 bar), corresponding to a steam temperature of 144℃; - Category 2, intended for a maximum working steam pressure of 0.6MPa (6 bar), corresponding to a steam temperature of 165℃; - Category 3, intended for a maximum working steam pressure of 1.0MPa (10 bar), corresponding to a steam temperature of 184℃; - Category 4, intended for a maximum working steam pressure of 1.6MPa (16 bar), corresponding to a steam temperature of 204℃; - Category 5, intended for a maximum working steam pressure of 1.6MPa (16 bar), corresponding to a steam temperature of 204℃; and continuous use.
